New issue of Arbitration.ru journal

Though all other issues except for the coronavirus pandemic have receded into the background, the March issue of Arbitration.ru is dedicated to the topic of gender diversity and equality, which invariably arises on the International Women’s Day celebrated on the 8th of March: this holiday emerged thanks to women who fought for the opportunity to have equal rights with men. This topic has already been raised in our journal to a certain extent and is important for the arbitration community.

Inter alia, you will find in this issue:

  • Arbitral Women: Walk the Talk. By Mirèze Philippe, ArbitralWomen co-founder and Board member, Special Counsel ICC International Court of Arbitration.
  • Gender Diversity In The Composition Of International Arbitration Tribunals: A New Blind Spot?
By Karoline Kittelmann and Hanna Shalbanava, Clifford Chance Deutschland LLP.
  • Promoting Gender Diversity In the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC). Alice Fremuth-Wolf, Secretary General of VIAC, Member of the Pledge Steering Committee.
  • Russia: Update On Arbitration Legislation And Rules In 2019-2020
By Vladimir Khvalei and Irina Varyushina, Baker McKenzie, Moscow.
