Conference “Arbitration in Russia: New Solutions for Business”

Russian publishing House Kommersant and Russian Arbitration Association will hold a conference on 16 October 2014 in Moscow on resolution of commercial disputes through online arbitration platforms: Arbitration in Russia New Solutions for Business.

Online dispute resolution is getting increasingly popular. With the rise of the Internet, other intelligent  bits of technology, lawyers would be able to solve legal disputes with computers, not courtrooms and judges. The conference is going to focus on legal implications of the Internet and electronic communications on business in Russia.

The participants also plan to discuss the demands of contemporary businesses from arbitration. In addition, it will touch upon international experiences with on-line dispute resolution services. Last, but not the least, it will discuss online dispute resolution under the Rules of Russian Arbitration Association.

The Russian Arbitration Association was founded in April 2013 in Moscow to unite legal practitioners, law firms and academics. The Association represents broad interests of the business, legal and education communities involved in the alternative dispute resolution in Russia and the CIS.
