Minsk Convention on Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Matters

PDF - for LibraryMinsk Convention on Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Matters was signed in 1993 and is in force as between the following states: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russian Federation, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan. The Convention provides the rules for legal cooperation between member states’ courts in civil, family and criminal matters. In particular, it sets forth the rules regarding jurisdiction of member states’ courts, recognition and enforcement of foreign court judgments, conflict of law rules.
